Cottage rentals are available from May 17 – October 21, 2019

Cottages are rented on a weekly basis during the peak season, and weekly or nightly (with a 2 night minimum), during the off-peak season. Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday only in peak season. The weekly rental rates will be as follows:

The above rates do not include the Maine State 9% lodging tax.

Terms:

Amenities: All facilities and amenities are restricted to registered guests only, with parking limited to two vehicles per cottage. Additional parking is available in the overflow parking area.  All facilities and amenities are inclusive in the rental rate (i.e., no extra fees).  with the following exceptions: boat, trailer and camper storage. Please contact the front office for fee information.

Rates are final at the time of reservation.

Sorry, no refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures.

No Check Ins Prior to 3PM:  We fully appreciate that you are anxious to start your vacation as soon as you arrive.   However, we can make no guarantee that your rental cottage will be ready before 3PM.  If you plan to arrive earlier than that, you are welcome to use our grounds and pool areas.   We recommend that you pack a small day bag with swimsuit and you are welcome to use the changing facilities at the pool or the locker rooms in our fitness center.

After Hours Check Ins:   If you will not be arriving prior to the time that our Front Desk closes (see hours on our “Contact Us” page , please call 1-800-839-3995 an hour prior to closing so that we can make alternate check-in arrangements with you.

Linens:   Sheets and towels are not provided for your stay.   Linen rentals are available through Summer Village. Please call the Front Desk at 1-800-839-3995 to arrange for linen/towel rental during your stay.

Reservation Deposit:  All reservations are guaranteed by a deposit of 1/3 of the total, inclusive of the 9% Maine Lodging tax.

Payment in Full:  The balance due on your reservation will automatically be charged to your credit card on file twenty-one (21) days prior to your arrival unless other arrangements have been made with the Front Office to charge the balance to a different credit card.

Credit Cards Accepted:   Visa, Master Card and Discover.

Security Deposit:   A $200.00 security deposit will be charged against your credit card on file at the time of check in.   This is done by means of a “hold” being placed on these funds until check-out.   Because all of our cottages are individually owned, our staff performs inspections of every cottage upon check out.   Your security deposit may be used to cover the cost of loss, possible damage or for excessive cleaning.   As soon as the cottage has been inspected, Summer Village transmits a release of the “hold” to your bank.  In the event that the card you have on file with us is a debit card, it may take up to 10 days for your bank to completely release the hold on your funds.    

Cancellation:  If a reservation is cancelled 30 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date, a refund (less a $25.00 cancellation fee) will be issued. If cancelled less than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival, NO refund is given. A no show/no call also forfeits the deposit. Sorry, no refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures.

NO Pets:  For the convenience and comfort of all, pets are not allowed in the guest cottages.

Electric Cars:  At this time, the property does not have the capability for recharging electric cars.

No Smoking Policy:  Smoking is prohibited in all the cottages and in the public areas (pools, pavilion, sports areas, etc.) There is a $500 fine for each infraction.
