LONG SANDS BEACH – 1.5 miles long of mostly sandy beach – public restrooms, handicapped parking and access ramps located near bath house. Lifeguards. Restaurants, take-out food and convenience stores within walking distance. Parking meters or parking permit. A permit may be issued to a resident for use in designated resident parking permit zones. The Parking Permit program runs each year beginning on May 15th and ends October 15th (yorkpolice.org)

- Turn LEFT onto Cape Neddick Rd (.9 mi)
- Continue onto Main St. (.6 mi)

- Turn RIGHT onto Long Beach Ave (.8 mi)
