SHORT SANDS BEACH – A popular quarter mile long sandy beach – public restrooms, seasonal lifeguards, metered parking, a large sandy playground, basketball courts, a gazebo and a large grassy park area. Parking meters – Meters accept Nickels = 3 minutes, Dimes = 6 minutes, and Quarters = 15 minutes.
- Turn RIGHT onto Rt. 1 South from The Cottages At Summer Village front entrance (6.7 mi)
- Turn LEFT onto Cape Neddick Rd. (.9 mi)
- Continue onto Main St. (.6 mi)
- Continue onto Railroad Ave (.2 mi)
